Lash Extension Aftercare
It’s very important to follow aftercare instructions for best results. The number one thing you can do for best retention? Wash your lashes! Washing your lashes and avoiding the use of mascara and heavy eye makeup makes all the difference!
Try not to get your lashes wet for the first 24 hours
Avoid oily products in the eye area like creams and heavy make-up
Use oil-free products including an approved cleanser, available for retail purchase
Avoid steam and excessive humidity including saunas, long hot tub soaks, and hot yoga
Avoid heat sources including BBQ, stove/oven, dishwasher, blow dryer, flat iron
Avoid picking, pulling, twisting, or excessively touching your lashes
Avoid using an eyelash curler on your extensions
Minimize friction from sleeping by sleeping on your back or using a satin pillowcase (great for hair and skin too)
Cover eyes lightly when showering to avoid full water spray on lashes
Wash and brush your lashes daily
Treat your eyes and lashes gently, as if you have makeup on that you don’t want to smudge
Book regular fills, every 2-3 weeks
